Located north of the Susquehanna valley, in beautiful Tioga County,
Central Pennsylvania, Seabrook House West provides a transitional
living opportunity for up to 28 male residents ages twenty-four (24) or older, recovering from alcoholism, chemical dependency and other compulsive disorders. Those under the age of 24 will be considered only after evaluation for appropriateness.
The facility features high end accommodations and amenities typically found in 5 star bed and breakfasts. The main building consists of
a 9,000 sq. ft. Colonial Revival mansion built in 1937 with marble and original hardwood floors. It is
situated on 14 acres of rolling hills, hiking trails and manicured
gardens with a detached two-story residence with an additional 10,000 square
feet of living space. On site recreation includes cardio workout room, basketball, volleyball, soccer, ping pong room, a fleet of mountain bikes, hiking, horseshoes, and a large fire pit for evenings around a camp fire in the middle of a brick courtyard.
Accommodations offer private rooms with queen size beds, private baths, cable television, weight-lifting facilities, a 1,600 sq .ft.
media and game room, Internet access and WiFi throughout. The program provides a minimum 90 day, 3 phase
step-down for independent living and immersion into a 12 step
recovery process. Patients may come directly from Seabrook House's
5 week primary rehab program or any other addiction treatment facility throughout the United States.
